Water-based Odorless Non-VOC Film-Forming Agent YT-290

Yintian YT-290 is a green, environmentally friendly, almost odorless film-forming agent. As a non-VOC substance, it is an extremely eco-friendly film-forming agent for architectural coatings and water-based paints. It is widely used in industries such as water-based architectural coatings, water-based inks, and water-based adhesives. It has extensive applications in exterior wall latex paints, wicker paint, water-based wood coatings, water-based industrial paints, non-stick coatings, solvent-based fluorocarbon coatings, and other high-temperature baking coatings.

YT-290 is comparable to Dow's Coasol 290 film-forming agent. It is the preferred film-forming agent for your odorless emulsion coatings.

1.YT-290 improves film formation over a wide range of temperatures and relative conditions.

2.YT-290 has a very low freezing point, requiring no special treatment in winter, and lowers the minimum film-forming temperature.

3.YT-290 has a synergistic effect with associative thickeners, reducing the amount of associative thickeners needed.

4.YT-290 improves film performance, application properties, and weather resistance.

5.The typical usage of YT-290 in emulsions is 3–6% of the emulsion solid content. It does not exceed 15% of the emulsion solid content and does not affect the stability of the emulsion. For general architectural emulsions, adding YT-290 film-forming agent at no more than 5% of the emulsion volume can lower the minimum film-forming temperature to 0°C. Its low freezing point eliminates the need for special treatment in winter. Adjustments should be made according to different construction seasons, temperatures, and humidity conditions.

6.YT-290 is used as a solvent in acrylic baking paints and various baking coatings. It is environmentally friendly and non-toxic, and can replace DMP in fluorocarbon coatings. It is also used as a high-boiling-point solvent in printing inks, textile dyes, and other applications.

7.YT-290 has a boiling point exceeding 290°C, meeting the latest EU standards (≥287°C) for non-VOC environmentally friendly water-based film-forming agents.
