KEFDQ Series High Voltage Discharge Sphere Gap (Voltage Measuring Device)

I. Product Introduction
       The KEFDQ series high-voltage discharge sphere gap voltage measuring device employs a pair of spherical electrodes with identical diameters. When integrated with high-voltage test transformers, control consoles, voltage regulators, water resistors, and other components to form a complete testing system, it serves for high-voltage measurement and protection of test objects during power-frequency high-voltage tests.
II. Product Application
       During electrical high-voltage testing, users connect the sphere gap device in parallel with the test sample. The device itself is串聯(lián) with a protective resistor of 1 ohm per volt. First, adjust the sphere gap to 60% of the test voltage, with the test sample connected simultaneously for measurement. When the sphere gap discharges, record the reading on the low-voltage side voltmeter of the test transformer (averaging 3-4 readings). Then, similarly determine the voltmeter readings at 70% and 80% of the test voltage. Plot a curve (often a straight line) using these three points and extend it (typically by proportional extrapolation) to the desired test voltage value to obtain the low-side voltmeter reading. Finally, adjust the sphere gap to a position 10-15% higher than the test voltage. It acts as a discharge protection device against possible overvoltages during AC/DC withstand voltage tests.
III. Voltage Ratings

      2. Voltage ratings: 10～50～100～200～300KV (specific voltage levels are selected and purchased by users)
