Impact, abrasion, and corrosion-resistant repair mortar is formulated with modified epoxy resin, offering a fast-repair material that forms a high-strength, high-toughness, and high-adhesion consolidated body. The consolidated body exhibits excellent impermeability, freeze resistance, salt resistance, alkali resistance, acid resistance, and anti-corrosion properties. It can be widely applied to the surfaces of hydraulic structures subjected to high-speed sediment-laden water flow, such as spillway dams and diversion tunnels for repair and reinforcement projects.

Defects in the quality of hydraulic concrete flow surfaces are prone to cavitation and erosion damage under high-speed water flow, which can impact the safe operation of structures. The main types of defects include the following:

(1) Honeycombing and pitting on the concrete surface;

(2) Offsets and curtains at construction joints and structural seams;

(3) Surface bubbles on concrete;

(4) Exposed holes from tie rods, pipe fittings, reinforcing bars, etc., on the flow surface;

(5) Shallow surface cracks in concrete.

Repair Process

Base Preparation

For concrete, mortar, stone, and brick materials:

The substrate must be flat and dry. Contaminants such as laitance, ice, flowing water, oil, dust, old coatings and plaster, and loose particles must be removed.

Mixing Ratio

Component A : Component B = 3 : 1 (by weight/volume)

Mixing Time

Mix Component A and Component B together using a slow-speed electric drill with a mixer (speed not exceeding 600 rpm). Mix thoroughly for at least 3 minutes until a uniform gray mixture is achieved. Then, pour the entire mixture into a clean container and mix again at low speed for at least 1 minute. Avoid incorporating air during mixing. The amount mixed should be limited to what can be used within the applicable working time.

Application Method/Tools

For thin-layer application, apply directly to the bonded substrate using a trowel, putty knife, or by hand with gloves;

Use formwork when repairing frame beams.
