Ordinary waterproof coatings create a waterproof membrane on the surface of the substrate to achieve waterproofing. Once this membrane is damaged, the waterproofing capability is lost. In contrast, cement-based capillary crystalline waterproof coating uses its active substances, with water as a carrier, to penetrate deep into the concrete, react with cement hydrates to form crystals, filling and blocking cracks to provide permanent waterproofing.

Active substances are the main factor affecting the performance of cement-based capillary crystalline waterproof coating. Only when active substances are added in sufficient quantities can they penetrate deep into the substrate, form an adequate amount of crystals, and fill and block cracks, achieving waterproofing and seepage prevention without relying on a surface waterproof layer.
