I: Product Introduction

ZX-160 Phosphating Solution for Explosion-Proof Surfaces is specifically designed for the phosphating treatment of motor flameproof surfaces and maintenance of coal mining equipment. Produced using a German formula, its technical indicators fully meet the requirements for motor flameproof surface phosphating, complying with the national standard GB/T3836. Its standout features include rapid film formation, excellent rust resistance and stability, with a film thickness reaching 8-10μm, presenting a dark red (copper-red) appearance. It is a specialized phosphating solution for coal mining machinery equipment and explosion-proof electrical equipment.

Operating Temperature: Room Temperature

Processing Time: 1--30 min (minutes)

Total Acidity (TA) of Working Solution: 60--65 points

Free Acidity (FA) of Working Solution: 4—5 points

Treatment Method: Brushing or Immersion

Process Flow: First, thoroughly remove oil and rust from the workpiece surface – Rinse with water –

ZX-160 Phosphating Treatment – Drying – Next process (such as immersion in rust preventive oil or wax)

III: Usage Method

（1）After pre-treating the steel surface to remove oil and rust, use a brush to apply the phosphating solution onto the metal surface. Brush 1-3 times until the surface turns dark red (copper-red); after drying, apply rust preventive oil or wax;

（2）Alternatively, use the immersion method by soaking the de-oiled and de-rusted workpiece for 1--5 minutes, then remove. After drying, apply rust preventive oil or wax;

IV: Tank Solution Testing

1. Total Acidity (TA): Take 10 ml of phosphating solution into a 250 ml conical flask, add 100 ml of water, and add 2-3 drops of phenolphthalein indicator. Titrate with 0.1 mol/L standard NaOH solution until the solution turns pink; the number of milliliters of standard NaOH solution consumed is the points of total acidity;

2. Free Acidity (FA): Take 10 ml of phosphating solution into a 250 ml conical flask, add

100 ml of water, and add 2-3 drops of bromophenol blue indicator. Titrate with 0.1 mol/L standard NaOH solution until the solution turns blue; the number of milliliters of standard NaOH solution consumed is the points of free acidity.

V: Packaging, Transportation, and Storage

Packaged in reinforced plastic drums with a net weight of 25 kg or 30 kg. Transport as general chemicals; store in a cool, ventilated place with a shelf life of 24 months.
