Reverse Osmosis Membrane Cleaner ZX-814

l It is an alkaline-free, two-in-one multifunctional chemical that directly dissolves silicates. One product can replace traditional alkaline and acid cleaning, achieving excellent results without heating the solution.

l It can remove scale deposits such as metal hydroxides, calcium carbonate, silicates, and other types.

l After cleaning, production capacity and recovery rate significantly increase to normal levels. Due to the irreversible nature of RO membrane pore expansion, the salt rejection rate will not increase.

l Excellent cleaning performance extends membrane operational life and reduces operating costs.

Usage Instructions:【Maintenance Cleaning: Perform every 6-12 months to extend RO membrane life to 5-7 years】

A. Gradually add the chemical to the cleaning chemical tank, measure the pH to 1.0±0.2, with a water ratio of approximately 1:45-55.

B. Start the booster pump (no need to heat the circulating chemical solution).

C. Test the pH every ten minutes. The pH may change; continue adding the chemical to maintain pH at 1.0±0.2. Clean for 1-2 hours. For severely clogged RO membranes: Use the same method and appropriately extend cleaning time.

D. Dilute with water to pH 2.5±0.2, gradually close the concentrate flow regulating valve to adjust pressure, and continue cleaning for 1-2 hours. Then, end the cleaning, drain the cleaning solution, and switch to normal operation mode for rinsing. Rinse for 24 hours until the purified water pH reaches 5.5-6.5. Initially, high conductivity during rinsing is normal due to residual chemicals. If the purified water is for non-potable uses like circulating water, it can be directly used in production. For drinking water, thoroughly rinse until residual chemicals reach normal levels before putting into operation. Conductivity returns to pre-cleaning levels, indicating completion.

E. Theoretical dosage: Each kilogram of chemical can dissolve 0.6-0.8 kg of scale and clogging substances.

G. The cleaning circulation system must be equipped with a cleaning filter.

ApplicationDue to membrane type, service time, water quality, and clogging substances, the following conditions after cleaning are within normal range:

A. Production capacity (pure water recovery rate) increases significantly, but salt rejection (pure water conductivity) shows no obvious change.

B. Salt rejection (pure water conductivity decreases) increases somewhat, but production capacity (pure water recovery rate shows no obvious change).

C. Both production capacity (pure water recovery rate) and salt rejection (conductivity) show no obvious change. Reason: The membrane has reached its service life or the clogging substances are particularly difficult to dissolve, requiring special chemical formulation based on water quality.

Operational Precautions

Wear latex gloves, protective goggles, and protective clothing. If splashed into eyes, immediately rinse eyes with plenty of water and seek medical attention quickly. Prevent spills on cement floors to avoid corrosion. If the floor is eroded, rinse immediately with water.
