ZX-317Medium Temperature Zinc-Manganese Series Phosphating Solution

I. Product Application:

ZX-317 is a slag-free, medium-temperature zinc-manganese series phosphating solution designed for corrosion-resistant treatment of steel surfaces. It quickly forms a uniform and dense phosphating film on steel components, appearing dark gray with fine, even texture. The film offers excellent corrosion resistance (copper sulfate drop test can exceed 10 minutes) and strong wear resistance. It is particularly suitable for high-quality black phosphating applications such as bearing liners, piston rings, automotive and motorcycle parts, and various mechanical components. Phosphated workpieces can also serve as a pre-treatment for coating, enhancing adhesion between paint/plastic layers and the metal substrate, preventing issues like paint peeling, flaking, or poor adhesion after spraying.

III. Operation Process:

Workpiece after degreasing and oil removal → rinse thoroughly → acid pickling for rust removal → rinse thoroughly → soak in XF-416 surface conditioner → treat with ZX-317 phosphating solution → hot water rinse → rinse thoroughly → can be immersed in anti-rust oil, sealant, or directly sprayed.

1. Add tap water to the tank as required by the process, then slowly add ZX-317 phosphating solution while stirring. Heat to the desired temperature before use. Degreasing and derusting are critical for surface phosphating; after thorough derusting, rinse and treat with surface conditioner before phosphating;

2. Rinsing between steps must be thorough, with multiple agitated rinses. Rinse tanks should be frequently refreshed to maintain clean water quality, preferably with overflow. Minimize the time workpieces are exposed to air. Store phosphated workpieces away from the treatment tank solution;

3. As effective components deplete over time, replenish with ZX-317 phosphating solution to maintain the tank solution. Specific measurement methods are detailed in the appendix. Regularly remove sediments and surface contaminants from the tank;

4. The treatment solution is acidic and operated at elevated temperatures. Wear protective gloves and follow labor protection measures. Avoid contact with skin, mouth, or eyes during cleaning. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention if discomfort persists.

VI. Packaging and Storage: 25 kg/drum, store in a cool place, valid for 2 years.
