This exhaust gas absorption unit consists of a falling film absorber and a packed absorption tower connected in series, with a water jet vacuum unit at the tail end for vacuum extraction. It features high processing capacity and a low cost-to-efficiency ratio. 2. The unit is primarily used for absorbing HCl exhaust gas to produce hydrochloric acid. The exhaust gas first passes through the primary falling film absorber, where most of the HCl is absorbed to produce finished hydrochloric acid. The remaining gas enters the secondary packed absorption tower for further absorption, yielding dilute hydrochloric acid. Less than 2% of HCl and a small amount of insoluble gases are drawn into the water jet vacuum unit for subsequent treatment or discharge. 3. This unit is also suitable for absorbing other exhaust gases with low insoluble gas content. With appropriate modifications, it can be adapted for use in scenarios involving higher levels of insoluble gases.
