Hydraulic steel gates are water control devices primarily made of steel materials, mainly used for water flow regulation and pressure control in river management, hydropower stations, and municipal flood prevention.
Structural Composition
Mainly consists of three parts: gate leaf structure, embedded components, and hoisting machinery:
Gate leaf structure: Includes panel, support walking device, and sealing system. The panel adopts a lattice cross-section design, and the sealing device uses foam rubber strips with a gap control of ≤0.1mm.
Embedded components: Include main track, lintel, bottom sill, etc., anchored to the secondary concrete via anchor bolts.
Hoisting machinery: Equipped with winch-type (max 50KN) or screw-type hoists based on gate type, supporting manual/automatic operation.
Material and Anti-Corrosion
Made of Q235B low-carbon steel or 304 stainless steel. Surface treatment includes sandblasting to Sa2.5 cleanliness, hot-dip zinc coating thickness ≥120μm, combined with epoxy coal tar paint for corrosion protection.
Types and Functions
Divided into three categories by structure:
Fixed-wheel flat gate: Gate leaf moves vertically, suitable for water head ≤8 meters, with forward leakage controlled at 0.03-0.72 liters/minute·meter.
Radial gate: Operates by rotating around a hinge shaft, commonly used in large open-top projects, with leakage ≤0.72 liters/minute·meter.
Integrated gate and machine: Combines hoisting device, can replace high-pressure gate valves, suitable for special working conditions.
Application Scenarios
Covers hydraulic engineering (reservoir regulation, river improvement), municipal water supply and drainage, agricultural irrigation, wastewater treatment, and industrial fields (e.g., metallurgy, chemical industry), achieving flood control and drainage through water level regulation.
Maintenance Points
Transport must be horizontal to prevent deformation; installation requires calibrating embedded part errors ≤3mm; lubricant replenishment every six months during operation; rubber sealing strips replaced every three years.
