High-pressure cast iron sluice gates are water flow control devices primarily made of cast iron, widely used in hydraulic engineering, water supply and drainage, and wastewater treatment. They regulate water levels and intercept flow by driving the gate plate up and down via a hoist.
Structural Composition
Mainly consists of components such as the gate frame, gate plate, guide rails, sealing strips, and drive screw. The gate frame serves as a support structure and slideway, fixed to the gate pier and secondary concrete base with anchor bolts, evenly transferring water pressure to the main structure. The gate plate directly withstands water pressure and is made of gray cast iron or ductile cast iron, complying with industry standards CJ/T3006-92 and DL/T5018-2004.
Sealing Design
The sealing surface uses copper alloy inserts or rubber sealing strips, achieving bidirectional water stoppage through wedge block adjustments, with gaps controlled within 0.1mm. Under forward water pressure, leakage can reach 0.03-0.07L/m·s, while under reverse pressure, it can reach 0.7-1.25L/m·s.
Application Scenarios
Suitable for rivers, reservoirs, hydropower stations, and urban water supply and drainage systems, with a pressure-bearing capacity of up to 10 meters of water head bidirectionally. They operate in environments ranging from -20°C to 120°C and handle wastewater media. Drive methods include manual, electric, or pneumatic, with installation options of embedded steel plates or bolt fixation.
