Introduction to Screw Conveyors
Screw conveyors use rotating spiral blades to push materials for transportation. They are widely used in various industries and are suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying of powdered, granular, and small lump materials. The material temperature should be less than 200°C. Screw conveyors are not suitable for conveying perishable, sticky, or easily agglomerated materials.
Working Principle:
Screw conveyors use rotating spirals to push materials along a fixed casing for transportation. The head and tail bearings are moved outside the casing, and the suspension bearings use sliding bearings equipped with dust-proof sealing devices.
Specifications:
Screw diameters range from 114 mm to 320 mm, with five specifications available. Lengths range from 2.5 m to 12 m, in increments of 0.5 m. Standard nominal lengths should be selected during model selection. Special requirements can be specified in the optional sections.
