I. Application
This machine is suitable for dewatering wet waste such as domestic garbage, water hyacinth, fruit peel pulp, plastics, chemical materials, discarded vegetable leaves, and moisture-containing waste with long fiber stems. It aims to reduce the water content and volume of the pressed material, as well as minimize odor and space occupation during incineration or landfill processes.

A feed box is installed in the middle of the machine. The material to be dewatered is fed into the box, and the juice squeezed out by the screw flows through the screen cylinder into the juice tray, then out through the juice outlet pipe. The dewatered residue is discharged from the outlet at the end of the screen cylinder.
The working process of this twin-screw press is as follows: the feeding screw pushes the material from the feed box toward the pressing screw. Through the reduction in screw pitch and increase in shaft diameter, and with the resistance from the screen wall and the conical body, the liquid (e.g., juice) in the material is squeezed out. The expressed liquid flows out through the screen holes and collects in the juice tray. The pressed residue is discharged from between the end of the screen cylinder and the conical body. A spring is installed at the rear of the conical body. By adjusting the spring's preload and position, the discharge resistance and the size of the residue outlet can be changed to control the dryness of the press. The 5, 10, and 20 T/H presses are equipped with twin screws rotating in opposite directions, providing strong and uniform pressing force on the material. The residue outlet cone is controlled by a hydraulic cylinder; adjusting the oil pressure can alter the pressing effect on the material and modify the juice yield. This machine can also be used for solid-liquid separation of other materials, though the effect may vary depending on the material quality. The feed box, screen cylinder, and screw are all made of high-quality acid and alkali-resistant 304 stainless steel.
