Threaded Installation (Most Common)

Steps:

① Clean the reserved temperature sensor interface on the air receiver (typically G1/2 or M20×1.5 thread) and apply sealant (such as PTFE tape);

② Screw the sensor into the interface, ensuring tight thread engagement to avoid loosening or leakage;

③ The sensor probe must be fully inserted into the air receiver (usually 5-10cm deep) to accurately contact the compressed air.

Installation Precautions

1. Location Selection

The sensor should be installed in the highest temperature area of the air receiver (typically near the outlet or the middle of the tank), avoiding proximity to cooling systems or dead zones.

Keep away from vibration sources to prevent signal interference.

2. Sealing Requirements

After installation, conduct an air tightness test (e.g., soap water detection) to ensure no leakage.

Use high-temperature resistant sealing materials (such as PTFE) to avoid aging and failure under high temperatures.

3. Electrical Connection

The sensor leads must be connected to the signal input terminal of the over-temperature protection device (typically a three-wire system).

Wiring should be kept away from high-voltage cables to prevent electromagnetic interference.

4. Calibration and Testing

After installation, calibrate the temperature zero point and range through the protection device menu.

Simulate a high-temperature environment (e.g., by heating the sensor probe) to verify whether the protection device triggers shutdown or alarm functions.
