LS78 Type Rotating Cup Current Meter

1. Product Introduction

The LS78 Type Rotating Cup Current Meter consists of six conical plastic cups combined into a rotor assembly fixed on a rotating shaft. The lower part of the shaft is equipped with a conical tip socket, supported on a pivot assembly. The upper cylindrical journal of the rotating shaft is supported in the bearing seat of the eccentric cylinder within the yoke frame and is limited by a steel ball. When the shaft rotates, its upper thread (acting as a worm) drives the gear inside the eccentric cylinder to rotate, generating signals.

This instrument features high sensitivity and is suitable for measuring low flow velocities in general rivers, lakes, and reservoirs. It is particularly well-suited for measuring low flow velocities in deep water.
