Product Features

This product is a polyether-modified amino silicone oil with a multi-linear structure, suitable for the finishing of various textile fibers such as chemical fibers, wool, and their blends. It offers the following characteristics:

• Easily emulsifies and disperses in water to form a stable transparent microemulsion without the need for emulsifiers;
• Suitable for various finishing processes, including padding, exhaustion, and spraying;
• Imparts textiles with a very soft, fluffy, full, and plush hand feel, along with a special silky smoothness, low yellowing tendency, outstanding overall performance, and wide applicability;
• Good emulsion stability, with certain resistance to temperature and alkali. Generally avoids issues such as demulsification, oil separation, or roller sticking during use.

Application

Slowly add water to the silicone oil while stirring to dilute to the desired concentration. Water can be added in multiple stages; ensure thorough mixing after each addition before adding more water. During emulsification, the mixture will first thicken gradually and then thin out. After all water is added, neutralize the mixture by adding 0.5% glacial acetic acid (based on silicone oil weight). Using a high-shear emulsifier improves emulsification results.

Packaging and Storage

• Packed in wide-mouth plastic drums, net weight 100 kg per drum.
• Store sealed. Exposure to acid or alkali may cause deterioration. Prolonged exposure to air may increase viscosity and cause cloudiness.
• Shelf life is 12 months from the date of production when stored sealed at room temperature.
• This product contains a small amount of isopropanol solvent. Protect from direct sunlight and open flames during transportation and storage. Use general protective equipment during handling.
