Introduction: The U.S. FDA approved AR SCIENTIFIC, INC. Philadelphia, PA 19124 USA's fenofibric acid tablets to simultaneously control diet and reduce triglycerides and low-density lipoprotein (LDL) in patients with dyslipidemia, and increase high-density lipoprotein (HDL). This product is the first and only fenofibric acid drug approved for combination therapy with statins. For some patients, clinical treatment guidelines recommend the use of fenofibric acid drugs in combination with statins to further improve blood lipids. No studies have demonstrated that this product can prevent heart disease or heart attacks.
