Properties
Appearance: Brown-red oily viscous substance
Solubility: Easily soluble in acetone, benzene, n-butanol, chloroform, dimethylformamide, dioxane, ethylene glycol, methyl (ethyl or butyl) cellosolve solvents, acetic acid, and water at room temperature. Soluble in carbon tetrachloride, dichloroethane, styrene, etc., at 50°C.
Stability: Stable in 5% acid or alkali, decomposes when temperature exceeds 180°C.
Compatibility: Can be mixed with cationic and non-ionic surfactants, but should not be mixed with anionic surfactants.
