[Surface Treatment]

◆Steel surface blast cleaning to Sa2.5 grade, surface roughness 30μm-75μm.

◆Power tool cleaning to St3 grade.

◆For surfaces coated with primer, use light sweep blasting or pneumatic (electric) tools for secondary grinding.

[Application Conditions]

◆Substrate temperature must be above 3°C, relative humidity must be below 85%.

◆Steel plate temperature should be at least 3°C above dew point. In summer, under direct sunlight, recoating should be completed within 5 days; beyond 5 days, sand the surface for adhesion.

◆When the substrate temperature is below 5°C, the curing reaction between epoxy resin and curing agent stops or slows down, so application is not recommended.

[Precautions]

◆Epoxy paint should not be directly used with alkyd paint to avoid saponification reaction and film peeling.

◆Steel surfaces must be blast-cleaned; simple grinding and rust removal are not ideal.

◆Do not apply in heavy wind, rain, snow, or when air humidity is above 85%.

◆During application in high-temperature seasons, dry spraying may occur. To avoid dry spraying, adjust with thinner until no dry spraying occurs.

◆Curing period: 20°C, 7 days or more.
