Composition Characteristics:

Liangliang Jiao thermal insulation anti-corrosion paint is a corrosion-resistant product primarily composed of high-molecular synthetic resin as the main film-forming substance, combined with special polymer materials and thermal insulation materials. While meeting the anti-corrosion requirements of various storage tanks, it reduces the energy consumption and spray facilities associated with traditional cooling measures. It is specifically designed for the external walls of oil tanks and liquefied gas spherical tanks, effectively reducing the absorption of sunlight by the coated storage tanks as a professional thermal insulation coating.

Performance and Applications:

This paint utilizes new thermal insulation materials in the form of a thin coating layer to achieve heat insulation and cooling effects. Especially for liquefied gas tanks, oil tankers, storage oil tanks, and various chemical raw material tanks used in high-temperature summer environments, it reduces the energy consumption required by traditional cooling measures (such as spray devices to maintain a relatively low temperature in oil tanks during high summer temperatures) and improves the environment. The product primarily relies on special components in the paint film, such as thermal insulation materials, whitening agents, and polymer resins, to block and reflect heat from sunlight, achieving thermal insulation effects. This creates a significant temperature difference between the surface and interior of objects, lowering the temperature with excellent thermal insulation performance. It also provides strong anti-corrosion protection for metal surfaces and exteriors:

1. Liangliang Jiao thermal insulation primer replaces traditional red lead anti-rust paint, incorporating rust inhibitors, anti-rust materials, and thermal insulation fillers in the primer.

2. Liangliang Jiao thermal insulation intermediate coat offers excellent adhesion between the primer and topcoat while enhancing anti-corrosion effects.

3. Liangliang Jiao thermal insulation topcoat, applied as the surface layer, provides thermal insulation, anti-corrosion, reflection, and can replace spray systems, offering high-performance anti-corrosion protection.

Material Characteristics:

1. The coating has excellent blocking effect against solar radiation heat, reducing the internal temperature of coated objects by 8~10°C.

2. Good atmospheric stability, capable of withstanding climate, UV, cold and heat, sun, and rain.

3. The coating exhibits good weather resistance, aging resistance, wear resistance, strong adhesion, excellent seawater resistance, outstanding chemical resistance, good damp heat resistance, and superior anti-corrosion performance.

4. High solid content in the paint, with a single coating thickness of 50–60 μm, fast drying speed, and short construction cycle.

Scope of Application:

Suitable for the protection and coating of external layers of equipment such as liquefied petroleum gas spherical tanks, light oil tanks, chemical light low-boiling point material storage tanks, chemical raw material tanks, chemical pipeline equipment, ship decks, hulls, and hatch covers in high-temperature environments.

Construction Process:

1. Steel structures and non-metal surfaces should be treated to be free of rust, oil, dust, etc., before application.

2. Application methods include brushing, spraying, and rolling.

3. For use on old equipment, remove loose and peeling old paint, rust layers, dust, oil stains, etc. Use a grinder, steel brush, or sandpaper for finishing. Intact old paint can be retained before application.

4. For severely corroded steel surfaces, apply one coat of 70-T rust-tolerant paint or 88-1 degreasing, derusting, and phosphating liquid. Allow 24 hours for thorough drying before subsequent coating.

5. Coating interval: After applying the primer, wait 24 hours before applying the intermediate coat and topcoat. Each coat should be applied at 24-hour intervals.

6. During construction, avoid rain; do not apply if there is dew on the surface. Store in a fireproof, ventilated, dry place.
