Blast Furnace Gas Pulse Bag Dust Collector is a key equipment used in steel production for purifying blast furnace gas. It efficiently removes dust particles from the gas through pulse bag filtration technology, ensuring gas quality and reducing environmental pollution. Below are the core features and working principles of this equipment:

Working Principle

1. Filtration Stage
   • Dust-laden gas enters from the lower part of the dust collector, where coarse dust particles settle into the hopper due to gravity.
   • Fine dust particles rise with the airflow and are captured on the surface of the filter bags, forming a dust layer. The purified gas enters the clean air chamber from inside the filter bags and is discharged through the outlet.
2. Cleaning Stage
   • When dust accumulation on the filter bag surface causes resistance to rise to a set value, the pulse valve opens, and compressed air (or nitrogen) is instantly injected into the filter bag through the blowpipe.
   • The filter bag expands violently, causing the dust layer to fall off into the hopper and be discharged through the ash discharge valve.
   • After cleaning is completed, the filter bag returns to the filtration state, and the system enters the next cycle.
3. Safety and Emission
   • The top of the dust collector is equipped with a safety valve and a vent pipe to automatically release gas in case of overpressure.
   • The purified gas, after meeting the standards, is sent to the user's pipeline network. Dust in the hopper is transported out via pneumatic conveying or screw conveyors.
