Hot stamping equipment mainly includes the following categories:

Hot stamping machine

- Flatbed hot stamping machine: Widely used, flexible and convenient to operate, more suitable for short-run products. During operation, the stamping plate and the substrate are pressed on a flat surface, transferring the metallized foil onto the substrate.

- Flatbed cylinder hot stamping machine: Belongs to medium and large-sized machines, mostly modified from flatbed cylinder printing machines. The stamping is implemented with line pressure, resulting in a lower total pressure, making it easy to complete large-area solid stamping with relatively low pressure.

- Rotary hot stamping machine: Applied in web printing and post-printing inline processing production lines. Utilizing the design concept of offset printing machines, it offers high production efficiency and is suitable for large-volume hot stamping jobs.

Hot stamping plate

- Copper plate: The material is fine, with surface smoothness and heat transfer effects superior to zinc plates. Using high-quality copper plates can improve the gloss and contour clarity of hot-stamped graphics and text.

- Zinc plate: Relatively low cost, commonly used for making hot stamping plates for text, thick lines, and general images.

Metallized foil

- Base layer: Provides adhesion and protection, enabling the metallized foil to better contact the stamping plate and the substrate.

- Color layer: Offers various colors and gloss effects, such as gold, silver, red, rose gold, etc., to meet different hot stamping needs.

- Adhesive layer: Under the action of heat and pressure, it enables the metallized foil to firmly bond with the substrate.

Auxiliary equipment

- Foil feeding mechanism: Includes unwinding shafts, feeding shafts, auxiliary feeding rollers, etc., responsible for accurately delivering the metallized foil to the stamping position.

- Foil collecting mechanism: Collects the stamped metallized foil for subsequent processing.

- Clamps and molds: Used to fix and position the substrate, ensuring accurate hot stamping placement. They can also be made into various shapes and sizes as needed to achieve different hot stamping effects.
