Main Uses

　　In the photographic industry, used as an additive for photosensitive materials to regulate the sensitivity of the emulsion.

　　Used to prepare other bromides (such as organic bromides) or as a raw material for flame retardants.

　　In petroleum drilling, it can be used as an additive for completion fluids to regulate the density and performance of the drilling fluid.
