Main Applications

　　Solvent Applications:

　　It is a highly efficient polar aprotic solvent, widely used in organic synthesis reactions (such as Grignard reactions, coupling reactions) and as a mobile phase in chromatographic analysis (especially High-Performance Liquid Chromatography, HPLC), due to its good solubility for many organic and inorganic substances.

　　In the pharmaceutical industry, it is used as a reaction medium and purification solvent for drug synthesis, for example, in the production of antibiotics and vitamins.

　　Chemical Synthesis Raw Material:

　　Used to prepare intermediates such as ethylamine, acetyl cyanide, and diethyl malonate, which are further used to synthesize pharmaceuticals, pesticides (such as herbicides, insecticides), and dyes.

　　As a component of electroplating solutions, it is used in metal electroplating processes (such as copper) to improve the quality of the coating.

　　Other Fields:

　　Used as an electrolyte solvent in lithium batteries, often mixed with carbonates to enhance the conductivity and stability of the electrolyte.
