Cosmetic Solubilizers: Solubilize essential oils (such as lavender oil) in aqueous phase systems; the dosage is 1.5-2 times that of the essential oil, forming a transparent and stable solution.

Pharmaceutical Carriers: Used as solvents for topical medications to promote the skin permeability of antimicrobial agents (such as dapoxetine) in gel formulations.
