1. High-Performance Resins and Coatings

Unsaturated Polyester Resin: Introduced into the resin system as a crosslinking agent to form a high-density crosslinked network, enhancing the heat resistance (glass transition temperature increased by 20-30°C) and mechanical strength (tensile strength increased by 15-20%) of the resin. Commonly used in industrial fields such as wind turbine blades and pipelines.

UV-Curable Coatings: Compounded with Trimethylolpropane Triacrylate (TMPTA) to adjust curing speed and flexibility. The high functionality of PETA (tri-allyl ether + hydroxyl group) can form a tighter crosslinked structure, giving the cured film a hardness of over 3H and improving solvent resistance by 50%.

Powder Coatings: Used as a binder to improve the fluidity and melting characteristics of the resin, reducing pinhole and shrinkage cavity defects, suitable for surface coating of home appliances and automotive parts.

2. Superabsorbent Polymers (SAP)

Crosslinking Agent Application: Introducing PETA into acrylic-based SAP forms a three-dimensional network structure through free radical copolymerization, increasing the liquid absorption rate of the resin from 300g/g to 500g/g, while significantly improving salt tolerance (absorption rate > 150g/g in 0.9% NaCl solution).

Agricultural Water Retention Agents: Used for soil improvement to extend water retention time and enhance crop drought resistance.

3. Electronics and Composite Materials

Photoresist Additive: Compounded with Propylene Glycol Methyl Ether Acetate (PMA) to adjust the viscosity and leveling of the photoresist, meeting the high-precision requirements of semiconductor manufacturing. Its low volatility (evaporation rate is only 0.08 times that of butyl acetate) reduces solvent loss during the coating process.

Carbon Fiber Composites: Used as a resin solvent to optimize fiber wettability and enhance interfacial bonding, increasing the interlaminar shear strength of the composite material by 12-18%.

4. Pharmaceutical and Eco-friendly Materials

Drug Carrier: Hydroxyl groups can be grafted with bioactive molecules for targeted drug delivery systems. For example, connecting anti-cancer drugs via esterification reactions to achieve sustained release effects.

Degradable Packaging: Blended with Polylactic Acid (PLA) to improve the brittleness and processing performance of PLA while maintaining biodegradability.
