Emulsified Cutting Fluid: BMEO-12 acts as an emulsifier, stabilizing the dispersion of the oil phase (e.g., paraffin oil) in the water phase to form an O/W emulsion with a particle size < 1μm, thereby reducing tool wear.

Pharmaceutical Carrier: As a solvent for topical medications, it can enhance the skin permeability of drugs such as dapoxetine, with a dosage of 5-8% in gels.
