Other Products
Application in Rubber Industry
It can be used as a functional additive such as vulcanizing active agent to improve the smoothness, wear resistance, mechanical strength and anti-aging performance indicators of rubber products, reduce the use of ordinary zinc oxide, and extend the service life.
Application in Ceramic Industry
As a milk porcelain glaze and flux, it can reduce sintering temperature, improve glossiness and flexibility, and has excellent performance.
Applications in the Defense Industry
Activated zinc oxide has a strong ability to absorb infrared radiation, with a high ratio of absorption rate to heat capacity, and can be applied to infrared detectors and sensors; Activated zinc oxide also has the characteristics of light weight, light color, and strong absorption ability. It can effectively absorb radar waves and attenuate them, and is applied in new types of absorbing stealth materials;
Application in Textile Industry
It has good UV shielding and superior antibacterial and bacteriostatic properties. When added to fabrics, it can endow them with functions such as sun protection, antibacterial, and deodorization;
Application in feed industry
Activated zinc oxide, as a type of nanomaterial, has high biological activity, high absorption rate, strong antioxidant capacity, safety and stability, and is currently the most ideal source of zinc. Replacing high zinc with active zinc oxide in feed can not only meet the animal's demand for zinc, but also reduce environmental pollution. The use of active zinc oxide can have antibacterial and bacteriostatic effects, while improving animal production performance;
Applications in coatings, cosmetics, and other fields of application
When metal oxide powders such as zinc oxide, titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, and magnesium oxide are made into nanoscale particles, the size effect increases the gap between the conduction and valence bands due to the particle size being comparable to or smaller than the light wave, resulting in significantly enhanced light absorption. Various powders have different levels of shading and reflection efficiency towards light. When comparing zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, the shielding efficiency of the two is similar when the wavelength is less than 350 nanometers (UVB), but the shielding efficiency of zinc oxide is significantly higher than that of titanium dioxide when the wavelength is between 350-400nm (UVA). At the same time, the refractive index of zinc oxide (n=1.9) is lower than that of titanium dioxide (n=2.6), resulting in lower diffuse reflectance of light and higher fiber transparency, which is beneficial for textile dyeing and finishing.
Activated zinc oxide can also be used to manufacture materials for far-infrared reflective fibers, commonly known as far-infrared ceramic powder. And this type of far-infrared reflective fiber absorbs the heat emitted by the human body and radiates a certain wavelength range of far-infrared radiation to the human body. In addition to increasing blood flow in the subcutaneous tissue of the human body and promoting blood circulation, it can also block infrared radiation and reduce heat loss. Therefore, the fiber is more effective in heat storage and insulation than ordinary fibers.
