Introduction to GQS-206 Oil Content Meter (15ppm Bilge Water Alarm Device)

Measurement principle:

The GQS-206 oil content meter complies with the specifications of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The instrument adopts the internationally advanced infrared measurement technology, which measures the transmitted light and scattered light signals of the discharged water through infrared detection, and processes the data through the photoelectric converter and microprocessor to measure the oil content. When the oil concentration of the discharged water exceeds the specified value (15ppm), the instrument will send out an alarm and output a control signal for exceeding the standard, controlling the supporting bilge oil-water separator and discharge device (solenoid valve), effectively preventing the direct discharge of exceeding-standard sewage. The product complies with the requirements of Resolution MEPC107(49) of the Marine Environment Protection Committee of the International Maritime Organization, and has obtained type approval from China Classification Society.
