Dalian Molecular Sieve Factory, founded in 1980 at Dalian Bay, Ganjingzi District, Dalian city, Liaoning province, mainly produces molecular sieves. The factory covers a land area of 20,000 sq. m. with a floor area of 6000 sq. m. The fixed assets is4.2 million and the current assets is3.5 million. There are 135 workers, 3 engineers and certain amount of technicians in our factory. The annual output of various molecular sieves is 1,000t. We started to produce 3A, 4A, 5A, 13X molecular sieves since 1980; they are widely used in petrochemical industry, hospital, electrical industry and gas purification industry, etc. On the bases of 3A, 4A, 5A, 13X molecular sieves, we tried to produce F-03 sorbent in 1987 with excellent production technique and equipment. F-03 sorbent we produced at that time was proved up to the standard completely after tested by Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, CAS. And it was sent immediately to Xi'an High Voltage Switch Factory on probation. Compared with F-9 sorbent of electrical appliances imported from Japan under the same condition, the dust removing capability and speed of F-03 is superior to those of F-9. We totally produced dozens tons of F-03 at the end of 1991. Our customers include Xi'an High Voltage Switch Factory, Shenyang High Voltage Switch Factory, Beijing High Voltage Switch Factory and Pingdingshan High Voltage Switch Factory, etc. With the stable quality performance, we got more and more customers. Meanwhile, it was awarded Liaoning S & T Achievement and the First Prize in No.1 Liaoning Innovation Exposition in the same year. On June 20, 1992, this products passed the production authentication, thus we became the first manufacture of F-03 in China, with the certificate of GB/T19001-2000 idt ISO9001:2000 Quality System.

With the applications and development of SF6 industry, we have been keeping improving and refining the quality of F-03. At the same time, we developed KDHF-03 on the basis of F-03. Compared to F-03, its adsorption is increased by 10%, wearing resistant intensity is increased from 95% to over 99.9% and can avoid the falling-powder; moreover, its compressive strength is increased to 100N/G from 50N/G, therefore its quality was improved greatly. Meanwhile, because of the special plastic & fabric double vacuum packing bag, the moisture in the package is less than 1.5%, so that the user can take the product out from the package directly without activating it in an electric furnace before using, which can reduce the user's using cost by saving 2,000 KW for each ton of products.
