Properties and Applications

ZMMBI is one of the non-staining antioxidant varieties. Its performance is similar to that of antioxidant MBZ. When used together with accelerators M and DM, it can inhibit the accelerated aging effect of harmful metals....

Properties: Zinc 2-mercaptobenzimidazole methyl salt (MMBZ) is off-white powder, odorless and bitter. It is soluble in ethanol, insoluble in benzene, gasoline and water.

Applications: This product is used in natural rubber and polybutadiene rubber. As one of the non-staining antioxidant varieties, it has obvious thermal aging resistance. It is mainly used as a synergist for other antioxidants. Its performance is similar to that of antioxidant MBZ. When used together with accelerators M and DM, it can inhibit the accelerated aging effect of harmful metals. It is usually used in transparent rubber products, light-colored and bright-colored rubber products, especially heat-resistant products.
