Properties and Applications

Actmix MgO-75GE F140 is a rubber vulcanization activator commonly used in metal oxide vulcanization systems. It has a slow vulcanization rate when used alone, and can be used together with zinc oxide to achieve vulcanization effect. This is because it improves the processing safety of rubbers such as CR, CSM, CM, CIIR and FPM by increasing the critical temperature of alkaline catalysts, reducing the possibility of rubber compound scorching. On the other hand, MgO will lower the critical temperature of acidic catalysts. In halogen-containing compounds, especially CR and FPM, it acts as an acid absorber to improve aging resistance. It is used as a neutralizer for trace acids in cold-curing fabric adhesives, which can usually increase the modulus.

Dosage: Usually 3-5 phr
Application: Used in CR, CSM, CM, CIIR and FPM rubber compounds, such as various compression molded and injection molded products.
Packaging: Cartons lined with PE bags, containing 5 bags of particles packaged in 5kg vacuum aluminum foil bags each, with a net weight of 25KG per carton and 600KG per pallet.
Storage stability: Store in a sealed, cool, dry and well-ventilated place. The recommended shelf life is one year.
