Polyurethane Wear-Resistant Liner

Currently, various grades and materials of metal liners, ceramic liners, and rubber liners are applied in actual production.

Compared to polyurethane wear-resistant liners, these liners have some drawbacks in use. For example, metal liners are heavy, increase equipment load, are complex to replace, and can only be used for grinding materials that are not contaminated by iron. Ceramic liners are generally expensive due to production process limitations.

Once they break during use, they must be entirely replaced, resulting in low material utilization efficiency and short service life. Rubber liners are prone to aging and have poor tear resistance, especially under the impact of high-speed hard materials; operating temperatures rise, significantly accelerating wear rates.

Therefore, utilizing modern composite material technology to develop a new type of high-performance wear-resistant composite liner is of great significance for improving the efficiency of grinding operations and reducing energy consumption.

Polyurethane wear-resistant liner is a polymer material that falls between rubber and plastic. While possessing certain elasticity, it also offers excellent wear resistance, temperature resistance, and tear resistance.

By combining polyurethane resin with inorganic non-metallic hard fillers to create composite mill liners, both the wear resistance of the material can be enhanced and the impact of grinding media on the liner can be mitigated, thereby extending the liner's service life.

The incorporation of hard fillers can significantly reduce the cost of liners and improve their market competitiveness. Based on the characteristics of composite materials, different hard fillers can be added during production according to actual usage requirements to meet various application needs.
