       With the development of China's power industry, capacitor compensation devices have experienced unprecedented growth. However, this has been accompanied by a significant increase in capacitor accident rates, including serious group injury incidents. To prevent accidents involving shunt capacitors and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the power grid, the State Grid Corporation formulated the "Measures to Prevent Accidents in High-Voltage Shunt Capacitors." It explicitly states the need to "regularly measure the capacitance of individual capacitors in capacitor banks, recommending the use of measurement methods without disconnecting wiring to avoid faults such as bushing oil leakage caused by stress during disassembly and reassembly."

       This instrument is designed to address issues encountered during on-site measurement of high-voltage shunt capacitor banks in substations. It is developed in accordance with national standards such as GB3983.2-1989 "High-Voltage Shunt Capacitors," DL/T840-2003 "Technical Conditions for High-Voltage Shunt Capacitors," and JB5346-1998 "Series Reactors." It is primarily used for measuring high-voltage shunt capacitor banks and reactors in reactive power compensation devices.
       The instrument utilizes a new generation of high-speed hybrid microprocessors, highly integrated, to synchronously collect voltage and current signals from the test object, automatically calculating values such as capacitance, inductance, and reactive power. On-site capacitor measurement does not require disconnecting wiring, simplifying the testing process, effectively improving work efficiency, and avoiding damage to power equipment. After testing, it automatically calculates the capacity of each phase capacitor and other parameters, making it easy to identify quality changes in capacitors and connection conductor faults between devices. Additionally, the instrument features data storage and USB communication functions, eliminating the need for on-site data transcription and ensuring the integrity of measurement data.
