Product Introduction

       This instrument is specifically designed to detect internal defects such as poor contact in the valve plates of gapless zinc oxide surge arresters (MOA) used in 10kV and below power systems. According to DL/T596-1996 "Preventive Test Code for Electric Power Equipment" section 14.2, power plants and substations should perform tests on metal oxide surge arresters before each thunderstorm season and as necessary, measuring the DC 1mA voltage (U1mA) and leakage current at 0.75 U1mA. 

       Based on field measurement requirements, our company has improved the instrument by integrating the DC high-voltage power supply, measurement, and control systems, reducing its size and weight. The operation is user-friendly, allowing remote measurement via a remote controller. In accordance with measurement regulations, an automatic ambient temperature measurement function has been added. It features a large-capacity memory that can store 50 sets of test data, which are not lost in case of power failure. Equipped with a high-speed thermal printer, it significantly improves the printing speed of test results. It is an essential device for on-site inspection in power systems and zinc oxide surge arrester manufacturing plants.
