The S-type horizontal single-stage double-suction split-case agricultural centrifugal pump is an upgraded, energy-efficient new product with a broader application range than SA and SH models. Designed according to national standards, it features high levels of serialization, standardization, and universalization. This pump type offers advanced performance, stable operation, and reliable safety. Its design incorporates new structures and materials, making it suitable for conveying various media.
The S-type pump is used for conveying clean water or liquids with physical and chemical properties similar to water.

The S-type pump is widely used in urban water supply and drainage, power stations, industrial process systems for water intake and pressurization, farmland irrigation and drainage, and various hydraulic and petrochemical engineering projects.

II. Structural Description

1. The suction and discharge ports of the S-type pump are located below the pump shaft centerline and are perpendicular to the axis in a horizontal direction. During maintenance, there is no need to dismantle the inlet and outlet pipes or the motor. Viewed from the drive direction, the pump rotates clockwise (it can also be modified for counterclockwise rotation as per user requirements).

2. The main components of the pump include: pump body, pump cover, impeller, shaft, double-suction seal ring, shaft sleeve, etc. Except for the shaft, which is made of high-quality carbon steel, the other main parts are manufactured from cast iron, cast steel, or stainless steel.
3. The pump body and pump cover form the impeller’s working chamber. The inlet and outlet flanges are equipped with threaded holes for installing vacuum and pressure gauges. The lower part of the inlet and outlet flanges has threaded holes for drainage.
4. The impeller, after static balance testing, is fixed to the shaft with a shaft sleeve and nuts on both sides. Its axial position can be adjusted via the shaft sleeve nuts. The axial force of the impeller is balanced through symmetrical blade arrangement and double-side water intake.
5. The pump bearings are radial ball bearings. The bearings are housed in bearing bodies installed at both ends of the pump and lubricated with grease.
6. The double-suction seal ring is used to reduce water leakage from the pressure chamber back to the suction chamber.
7. The pump is directly driven by an electric motor via an elastic coupling. If necessary, it can also be driven by an internal combustion engine.

8. The shaft seal is a soft packing seal (mechanical seals can also be installed as required). To prevent air from entering the pump and to cool and lubricate the seal chamber, a packing ring is installed between the packing materials. During pump operation, a small amount of high-pressure water flows through the trapezoidal groove on the split surface of the pump cover into the packing chamber, serving as a water seal.

III. Material Description
Materials for the S-type horizontal split-case pump can include copper, cast iron, ductile iron, 316 stainless steel, 416 stainless steel, duplex steel, Hastelloy, Monel, titanium alloy, and Alloy 20, among others.
