III. Product Function

The KS-30487B Wire and Cable Tracking Resistance Tester is used to test the ability of wires and cables to withstand damage caused by surface leakage-induced tracking under specified conditions. It is suitable for research, production, and quality inspection departments of wires and cables. By outputting a certain high voltage from a high-voltage source, and under the combined action of high voltage and electrolyte, it determines whether the current at the grounded end of the sample exceeds 1A within several cycles, thereby assessing the insulation performance of solid insulating materials.
