Product Description

VERNICE HI-THERM BC-346-A is a modified polyester baking insulation varnish suitable for the dipping process of motor windings. It exhibits excellent compatibility with traditional enamels, particularly polyamide-imide wire enamels.

This product is compatible with the following enamel wire coatings:

Application Process

VERNICE HI-THERM BC-346-A is suitable for conventional dipping and vacuum impregnation. Viscosity can be adjusted using DOLPHS T-100 or T-200 thinners as needed.

Recommended process for multiple workpieces with conventional dipping:

· Pre-bake workpiece at 110°C

· Cool to 25-40°C

· Dip for 15-30 seconds

· Drain for 15-30 seconds (drain time can be reduced appropriately if a thicker film is desired)

· Place the workpiece into the oven and bake using one of the following processes:

3-5h @ 135°C or 2-4h @ 150°C or 1-2h @ 165°C (baking time must be calculated after the part reaches the baking temperature)

Storage & Shelf Life

Store below 25°C, away from heat sources, and avoid direct sunlight. In the original sealed condition, the shelf life is 12 months. Avoid moisture!
