The design of the DTII type belt cleaning box must meet the layout requirements of the belt conveyor, especially for inclined belt conveyors. The angle of the return belt cleaning device should be adaptable to the inclination angle of the belt conveyor to ensure normal operation of the equipment. The return belt cleaning device is supplied as a complete set, and the control system adopts DCS remote control. The system is equipped with water pressure (transmitter) detection, flow (transmitter) detection devices, and an automatic retraction mechanism to prevent dry friction between the cleaner and the belt surface due to water shortage in the system pipeline.

The conveyor belt cleaning box is installed at the head of the belt conveyor. It automatically flushes periodically through the cleaning device and directs the wastewater away through a sewage collection box, reducing dust pollution.

The return belt cleaning box should have functions such as material softening, cleaning, automatic sewage discharge, and automated control. The intelligent return belt cleaning device and its accessories include: sealed box body, material softening device (including atomizing nozzles, solenoid valves, etc.), cleaning device (including various levels of cleaners and pressure rollers), sewage discharge device, water supply system and other auxiliary equipment or components, electrical control system, and connectors (including water pipeline connections).

The return belt cleaning device must be interlocked with the belt conveyor's rotation signal to ensure that it starts working when the belt conveyor is in operation. The intelligent return belt cleaning device should have smart detection capabilities, meaning that during the operation of the belt conveyor, it can automatically detect water shortage or low water pressure and retract the alloy cleaner from contact with the belt surface to prevent "dry friction" between the alloy cleaner and the belt, which could damage the belt.The belt flushing box is installed under the return belt, near the unloading roller of the belt conveyor.

When the belt conveyor starts operating, the cleaning device interlocked with the conveyor signal immediately begins working. The return belt passing over the cleaning machine is slowly pressed down by the automatic retraction device, ensuring full contact between the belt working surface and the water distribution softening roller and the cleaning system scraper. Then, the solenoid valve opens, and purified water is evenly sprayed onto the belt surface through the nozzles, washing and softening the adhered materials on the belt working surface. Subsequently, the materials are gradually removed by the cleaning system scraper to achieve a clean belt working surface. The cleaned sludge and excess water are temporarily collected in the collection box below the equipment and then discharged at a fixed point by the spiral sewage discharge system.
