1. Product Introduction:

SNCR, or Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction denitrification technology, is a clean denitrification method that involves directly injecting amino-containing reducing agents (such as ammonia water, urea solution, etc.) into high-temperature flue gas at 850~1100°C without using a catalyst. Under high-temperature conditions, the reducing agent first decomposes into NH3 and other by-products. Subsequently, the NOx in the flue gas further undergoes redox reactions with the decomposed NH3, reducing and removing NOx from the flue gas to produce nitrogen and water.

Additionally, a stream of flue gas is diverted at the inlet of the desulfurization tower and recirculated to the combustion fan, where it enters the fluidized bed furnace to participate in combustion. The flue gas undergoes further reduction reactions, improving reduction efficiency. At the same time, the low oxygen content in the recirculated flue gas results in lower NOx content in the generated flue gas, reducing the ammonia escape rate.

Due to the high furnace temperature of the fluidized bed furnace, SNCR technology is more suitable for denitrification of flue gas from such furnaces.

2. Performance and Features

System Composition: The SNCR denitrification system mainly consists of a reducing agent delivery system, distribution system, metering system, secondary distribution system, and injection system.

Advantages of SNCR Denitrification Technology:

SNCR technology is one of the mainstream flue gas denitrification technologies, with relatively low denitrification costs and a simpler process.

1. Simple System: It does not require changes to the existing equipment setup of the fluidized bed furnace. Instead, it only requires adding an ammonia or urea storage tank, ammonia or urea injection devices, and their injection ports based on the existing coal-fired fluidized bed furnace, making the system structure relatively simple.

 2. Low System Investment: The system is cost-effective due to its simplicity and the use of inexpensive urea or liquid ammonia instead of expensive catalysts during operation, resulting in low operating costs.

3. Low Resistance: It has minimal impact on the normal operation of the fluidized bed furnace.

4. Small Footprint: It requires a small ammonia tank (urea storage tank) that can be placed on the steel frame of the fluidized bed furnace without needing additional space.
