Properties

Solubility: Insoluble in water, but soluble in organic solvents such as tetrahydrofuran.

Applications

1. Materials Science: Prepare hybrid composite materials, react with inorganic materials to form organic-inorganic hybrid materials, improve mechanical strength and thermal stability; high-temperature lubricants.

2. Electronic Industry: Lithium battery electrolyte additive, which improves the capacity retention rate and cycle stability of lithium batteries.

3. Surface Treatment Agent: Tetravinylsilane can be used as a surfactant to improve the wettability and adhesion of material surfaces.

4. Coating Materials: Tetravinylsilane can be used to prepare silicon-based coating materials, which have excellent heat resistance, weather resistance and chemical corrosion resistance.
